Coming up Roses

Leanne and I visited the Washington Park International Rose Test Gardens while I was in Portland, and I have to say, I'm officially obsessed. In fact, I couldn't stop taking pictures (again with my sad iphone instead of a REAL camera). Now I just want to buy a house and make my whole backyard a secret garden of roses.

And then there was this flower, on the side of the road in someone's yard, that I also loved, but I'm not sure what it's called? Anyone know??

Photography Project

This morning on my drive to work, I decided that I'm going to start a photography project. The theme is going to be places in Nashville. Namely places I enjoy going, but also places I've been or places I want to go. I thought this might possibly help me to claim Nashville as home, at least for the time being.
